The days are getting shorter, colder, and wetter — but at least it’s getting cozier indoors. Time to look back at the summer, even as we’re still hoping for some warm autumn days!
What’s happened so far?
In June 2025, the MOREBEACHVOLLEY.ch website went live. We quickly reached over 100 supporters. In early August, we sent out our first newsletter. Just before that, the “Courts of Zurich” page launched — a guide to all beach volleyball courts near the city.
A first milestone reached!
On September 19, 2025, we hit 300 supporters. Huge thanks for your help getting us there! Since more is better in this case, we’d love for that number to keep growing. Feel free to spread the word and share our link with other beach volleyball fans, players, and coaches!
What’s happening behind the scenes?
We’ve inspected the most popular courts in Zurich to assess their condition. Our goal is to develop both short- and long-term improvements, and to discuss them with the city. We’ve already made contact, and a first meeting is just around the corner.
How do we work? We meet every two weeks to review progress on our sub-projects. Right now, our main focus is communicating with the city and drafting concrete proposals for improvements at individual courts.
