We are a non-profit community project for beach volleyball in Zurich and Switzerland. Protecting your data matters to us — here you can find out what information we store and how we use it.
When you register, we only store the essentials and only with your consent:
If you visit our site without registering, we do not store any personal data. We monitor visitor numbers using anonymised, aggregated information only. IP addresses are not stored by our analytics tool. We use Umami for analytics, which uses no cookies and can be operated in full GDPR compliance. Umami is self-hosted and operated by us — no data is shared with third parties.
Your data is stored on Hetzner Cloud servers in Germany, within Europe. We use modern security measures to prevent unauthorised access.
No hidden surveillance here!
Our entire tech stack is built on open-source software — for maximum transparency. Our frontend is built with the TypeScript framework Astro; on the backend we use Bun, Docker, Postgres, and Zitadel. The source code of the website is publicly available on Codefloe.
We protect your data to the best of our knowledge and use modern security measures. Nevertheless, despite all precautions, data loss or security incidents (e.g. a data breach) may occur. We accept no liability for unforeseeable, unauthorised access or losses arising from external attacks or technical failures.
Campaign signature (email only)
If you sign our campaign by email, we store only your email address – for no other purpose. You can withdraw this consent at any time: write to us at hoi@morebeachvolley.ch and we will delete your email address immediately.
Community membership
You can delete your membership and all stored profile data at any time in your profile. If you have technical issues or have not created an account, contact us at hoi@morebeachvolley.ch and we will take care of it.
If you have any questions about privacy or other topics, just write to us: hoi@morebeachvolley.ch
